I have successfully completed my River 1 Instructor with the goal of taking people on the Athabasca River in 2022!

My goal is to teach as many people SUP Skills so they can enjoy the water safely and competently.

Join Lisa Stocking on her RIVER of HOPE a 663km journey from Jasper to Athabasca Alberta, Canada. Along the way she touched so many people with the goal to raise awareness for Mental Health and Suicide Prevention! “Stop the stigma, ease suffering and create conversation instead of silence. So, as I paddle the river on long physically and mentally exhausting days, I understand that I am choosing to inflict this on myself. Not everyone gets that choice. Many people live trapped in their own minds, unable to walk away from the pain. For those people I paddle, bring light to the dark and stand up for!” - Lisa Stocking
